Coume del Mas Banyuls Hors d`Age is a non-vintage sweet wine produced in the Banyuls appellation of south-west France. This exceptionally small-production cuvée from Coume del Mas is produced from extremely low-yielding Grenache Noir from the 2005 vintage. The wine is fortified when it reaches the desired sweetness, then spends 10 years ageing oxidatively in barrels before bottling. An excellent accompaniment to chocolate-based desserts of fine cigars.
