The 4th Rabbit is Swartland winemaker Adi Badenhorst’s take on a traditional Mezcal-style agave spirit. Agave plants are sourced from the Karoo desert and are cooked in a fire-heated, stone-lined pit underground before fermentation – true to the Mexican technique. It is velvety smooth with notes of honey, citrus, mineral agave, earthy spice and gentle sweet smoke.
