Ardbeg Fermutation 13 Year Old Committee Release 2022

Ardbeg Fermutation 13 Year Old Committee Release 2022 is a limited-edition, age-statement single malt whisky produced at the Ardbeg Distillery on the Isle of Islay. This collectible single malt is the product of a happy accident that occurred in 2007 when a broken boiler caused the fermentation process at the Ardbeg Distillery to go on for much longer than usual. This extended fermentation resulted in a unique and complex whisky with notes of mixed herbs, vibrant zest, smoked orange, grapefruit, peppermint, aniseed, malty biscuits, cardamom, throat lozenges, tar, mint, toffee, and cigar ashes. The whisky is bottled at 49.4% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
