The Georgian Askaneli winery was founded in 1998 by the Chkhaidze brothers. The name “Askaneli” is associated with the small, magical village of Askana, where the old cellar, built by the family`s ancestor, Antimoz Chkhaidze, still stands. The Saperavi Reserve is a rich, full-bodied Georgian red produced from 100% Saperavi and offering up a bouquet of black fruit with black pepper and oak nuances, with crisp acidity and rich tannins.
