Domaine des Croix Corton La Vigne au Saint 2010 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru climat of La Vigne au Saint in the Corton commune of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine des Croix was created in 2005 when young winemaker David Croix and a group of private investors bought Domaine Duchet. Based in Beaune, the estate comprises 6 hectares of vines which have been organically farmed since 2008. This cuvée is from the Grand Cru of La Vigne au Saint, a 2.5ha walled vineyard on lower southern slopes of the Montagne de Corton. "The 2010 Corton La Vigne Au Saint bursts from the glass with a heady array of dark red fruit, crushed flowers and liquorice. It shows tons of complexity and sheer nuance. The wine gains volume and textural depth with air as it fleshes out on the palate. Menthol and eucalyptus are some of the notes that are woven into the hugely satisfying finish." Wine Advocate, 2012
