The First Vintage and Last Vintage of the Series

The first vintage of the Macallan 25 Year Old Anniversary Malt was distilled in 1957 and released in 1983. The last vintage with a vintage statement was distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2000. Subsequent releases from 2000 to 2004 did not carry a distillation year on their labels, marking the end of the vintage-specific bottlings in this series.

The Macallan Anniversary Malt series is a collection of 25-year-old single malts released from the 1980s until the early 2000s. They are among the most collectible Macallan whiskies in existence. This example was distilled in 1971 and bottled for the series in 1997.
