Weller Millennium

Buffalo Trace's Latest Premium Whiskey

A blend of rare aged whiskies distilled around the turn of the century.

The rumour mill was working over-time when this one first got announced. A brand new whisky from Buffalo Trace, under the much-loved Weller label.

A brief history of the Weller brand

Weller, often likened to Pappy Van Winkle, carries the legacy of William Larue Weller, a pioneering Kentucky distiller from the late 1800s who first used wheat instead of rye in bourbon. Originally crafted by Stitzel-Weller Distilling Company, Weller has been part of the Sazerac family since 1999.

The current Weller line-up includes.... W.L Weller Antique, W.L Weller Full Proof, W.L Weller Special Reserve, W.L Weller 12 Year, W.L Weller C.Y.P.B, W.L Weller Single Barrel, William Larue Weller, and Daniel Weller (launched in 2023).

Introducing Weller Millennium

The latest addition, Weller Millennium, blends bourbon and wheat whiskey distilled in 2000, 2003, 2005, and 2006. Bottled at 99 proof, it’s a tribute to 1999, the brink of the Millennium. Buffalo Trace haven't released exact numbers in terms of the size of the release, but it's certain to be quite limited given the age of the whiskies in the blend.

How can I buy Weller Millennium?

The UK release of Weller Millennium is pegged for late August 2024 with recommended retail set at £7,500.
