Domaine Sylvain Cathiard is a family-owned wine producer based in the village of Vosne-Romanée. In 2006 Sylvain’s son Sébastien joined him and the domaine took on its contemporary name of Domaine Sylvain Cathiard et Fils. This is the domaine’s Premier Cru ‘Aux Malconsorts’, sourced from a 0.74-hectare plot. The wine has a gorgeous and polished nose, featuring black and red fruit, sweet spices and minerals. The palate combines robust red fruit, mushroom, and sour cherry elements.
