Tannat is a red grape variety most commonly associated with the southwestern French region of Madiran. Tabor planted Tannat in 2009 and it is widely recognised as the first ever planting of the variety in Israel. It is rich, bold and fruit-driven, exuding delicious notes of red fruits and wild herbs, with firm tannins and bright acidity. This would be an excellent alongside grilled meats or hearty stews.
