Cellers Scala Dei is the pioneer winery of DOQ Priorat and a standard for quality preceding the region`s revival in the 1980s. The 2018 Cartoixa is a blend of 60% Garnacha and 40% Cariñena. The aroma profile is characterized by wild blackberry, vanilla, and clove. On the palate, it offers lively acidity, refined chalky tannins, and flavours of black pepper, raspberry coulis, and blackcurrant.
