Puligny Montrachet Les Champs Canet Jacques Carillon 2021

Jacques, the older of the Carillon siblings, continues to craft wines that reflect the style he developed during his tenure at Domaine Louis Carillon. His winemaking process involves crushing the grapes before pressing and keeping the use of new oak to a maximum of 15%. After ageing in barrels for 12 months, the wines are then bottled the following spring. In this particular release, sourced from his 0.55-hectare plot in the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru `Les Champs Canet,` the wine displays a vibrant, sweet citrus aroma with a subtle undertone of oyster shell minerality. It offers perfect harmony on the palate, featuring bright, fresh fruit, ample length, and a clear sense of direction.
