Penfolds Reserve Bin A Chardonnay 2019 is a barrel-aged Chardonnay from the iconic Penfolds wine brand in South Australia. The 2019 Bin A is made from fruit from the Adelaide Hills. According to Penfolds white wine maker Kym Schroeter, this single-region Chardonnay possesses "all the great characters of Grand Cru Chardonnay, but it`s very much from South Australia". After natural fermentation in barriques, the wine is matured in a combination of new and used barriques for 12-18 months. "Stunning purity here, offering very expressive white peaches with a gently spicy edge, as well as lemons, yellow grapefruit and well-pitched French oak.
