Louis Latour is a well-established name in Burgundy, renowned for crafting wines from their extensive 50-hectare domaine in the Côte d’Or, as well as sourcing grapes and wines through their négociant operation. Presented here is a rare 1971 Nuits-Saint-Georges bottling. Upon their initial release, the 1971 wines exhibited a tightly wound and reserved nature, lacking immediate charm. With the passage of time, the tannins mellowed, and the wines began to reveal their true character.
