Henri Gouges Nuits-St-Georges Les Chênes Carteaux 2010 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Chênes Carteaux in the Nuits-St-Georges commune of the Côte de Nuits. Situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine Henri Gouges is a highly regarded producer of expressive, terroir-driven wines. The estate of approximately 15 hectares is currently run by Gregory and Antoine, great-grandsons of the founder Henri Gouges. This release is from the Nuits 1er Cru of Les Chênes Carteaux. A strikingly elegant expression of this vineyard in 2010 – and one in its prime drinking window.
