The Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey estate was formed in 2001 when Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey – both from Burgundy winemaking families – joined forces. Today they produce wines from approximately 13 hectares of vineyards, situated in the villages of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. This particular cuvée is sourced from their 0.52-hectare plot in the Meursault Premier Cru ‘Les Perrières’. Expect a very concentrated, honeyed Chardonnay, with notes of citrys fruit, acacia flowers and a touch of smoke.
