Meursault Les Perrieres Pierre Yves Colin Morey 2003

The Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey estate was formed in 2001 when Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey – both from Burgundy winemaking families – joined forces. Today they produce wines from approximately 13 hectares of vineyards, situated in the villages of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. This particular release hails from the Premier Cru Les Perrières, where they own a 0.52-hectare plot. 2003 will be remembered in Burgundy for its ferocious heatwave, but the best producers managed to make spectacular wines from that unusual vintage.
