With a rich heritage that goes back to the 16th century, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti needs no introduction. The estate is co-owned by the Villaine and Leroy families, with Alexandre Bernier in place as head winemaker following the retirement of Bernard Noblet in 2018. La Tâche is one of their monopoles since 1933 and its wine is regarded as one of the finest expressions of Pinot Noir. The 2015 vintage is quite fruit-forward, offering notes of boysenberries, pomegranate, cassis and raspberries. The palate is generous yet focused, thanks to the firm and mineral backbone.
