Gevrey Chambertin Doudet Naudin 1983

Founded by Albert Brenot in 1849 in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin has evolved into one of Burgundy`s finest wine estates. In 1933, the Doudet family assumed ownership, enriching and elevating the overall quality of their wines. This particular release is a village-level Gevrey-Chambertin from the 1983 vintage. The nose unfolds with enticing aromas of red and black berries, complemented by vegetal notes reminiscent of brambles, as well as hints of coffee and pepper. On the palate, the wine presents a harmonious blend of fruity and vegetal characteristics, accompanied by an appealing bitterness, refined acidity, freshness, and well-coated tannins.
