Meaning `the greatest` in Spanish, El Mayor is made at the Gonzãlez family-owned distillery, which is overseen by Rodolfo Gonzãlez. Like all expressions from the range, the Añejo is made with 100% estate-grown blue agave from the valley area of Jalisco. Aged for up to 36 months in small American oak barrels, the spirit offers a lovely flavour profile including tropical fruits, vanilla, caramel, black pepper and a faint hint of lavender.
