Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle Vougeraie Magnum 2021

The 2021 marks the inaugural vintage of this monopole vineyard, acquired from the Duchesse de Magenta. The nose boasts an inviting fragrance reminiscent of frangipane and hazelnut, displaying a focused character that unfolds as it aerates. On the palate, a well-balanced profile emerges – while not overly intricate, it possesses a fresher quality compared to, for instance, the Puligny-Village. Towards the finish, there`s a subtle bite. Allowing this wine to rest in the bottle for around 12 months should enable it to develop into a refined Chassagne expression. Available here in a magnum bottle.
