Established in 2001 through the collaboration of Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey, both hailing from renowned Burgundy winemaking families, the Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey estate spans around 13 hectares across Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, and Meursault. This specific cuvée is sourced from the Premier Cru `Les Caillerets,` where the estate holds a 0.18-hectare parcel. "The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets has a perfumed floral bouquet with touches of dried quince emerging with aeration coupled with dried honey and nettle. The palate is very well-balanced with a slightly peppery opening.
