Meursault Clos de la Barre Comtes Lafon 2009

Domaine des Comtes Lafon is a leading wine producer based in Meursault, where it has holdings in some of the most prestigious vineyards. The estate is currently led by fourth generation family member Dominique Lafon, who inherited the winery from his father René in the mid-1980s. This village-level Meursault comes from Clos de la Barre, a 2.12-hectare monopole of the estate. The 2009 vintage in Burgundy was generally regarded as a very good year, with favourable weather conditions leading to ripe and concentrated fruit.
