Cécile Tremblay stands out as a dynamic force in Burgundy, establishing her domaine in 2003 with a modest 3 hectares of neglected vines inherited from her great-grandfather, Edouard Jayer. The estate, now certified organic, produces wines ranging from regional Bourgogne to Grand Cru level across 11 different appellations. This particular wine originates from a 0.45-hectare parcel, featuring 50-year-old vines situated on the upper slope of the Premier Cru ‘Les Feusselottes’. The nose reveals aromas of flowers, red berries, and sous bois, while the palate unfolds mature notes of earthiness, sweet spices, leather, and dried red fruits.
