A key member of the Consorzio Brunello di Montalcino since its inception in 1967, Castiglion del Bosco is based in the scenic Val d’Orcia – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 2018 vintage reveals aromas of raspberry and custard tart, complemented by baked cherry notes. The palate offers a combination of good acidity and extended, textured tannins. While approachable now, the wine also has ageing potential.
