Soldera Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1991 is a full-bodied, mature-vintage red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes in the Montalcino sub-region of Tuscany. Soldera was founded by Gianfranco and Graziella Soldera in 1970 and quickly established a reputation for producing some of the most highly sought-after Brunellos which highlighting the terroir of their Case Basse property`s Sangiovese vineyards. "The wine reveals a dark ruby colour with some amber at the edge. An extraordinary nose offers up provocative aromas of grilled meats, sweet black-cherries, Asian spices, balsamic vinegar, and smoke. The wine exhibits superb richness, incredibly sweet, pure fruit, full body, and layers of depth. The finish easily lasts for 35-40 seconds. This is a terrific, remarkable, compellingly complex, already delicious Brunello that promises to age well for 10-15+ years." Robert parker, 1997
