Pairolero Sottimano Barbera d`Alba 2021 is a full-bodied red wine produced in the village of Barbaresco in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Made by the highly respected Azienda Agricola Sottimano, this is a wonderful Barbera produced with fruit from two vineyards, Basarin and San Cristoforo, which are situated in the commune of Neive. "The 2021 Barbera d`Alba Superiore Pairolero is a heady, explosive wine. Black cherry, new leather, licoricey, cloves and gravel infuse the Barbera with so much flavour intensity. Bright acids lend quite a bit of energy throughout. The 2021 is incredibly promising. It was aged in a combination of tank and cask." Vinous, 2023
