Aubert CIX Estate Chardonnay 2013 is a full-bodied, barrel-fermented Chardonnay white wine from the Sonoma Coast of California. Winemaker -proprietor Mark Aubert professes to an abiding love of Leflaive Chardonnay and while much more in the ripe, Californian Chardonnay mould. The CIX Estate Chardonnay encompasses all of the subtleties of Grand Cru Burgundy Chardonnays, yet grown in the Sonoma Coast appellation. "The 2013 Chardonnay Cix Estate, also from a Montrachet clone planted on Goldridge soils, displays plenty of peach, apricot, caramelized apples, citrus blossom and wet stones in a full-bodied, powerful, rich and pure, precise style.
