Ardbeg 15 Year Old Single Oloroso Cask 5460 2005

Distilled in November 2005 and bottled after 15 years in March 2021, this Ardbeg underwent maturation in a 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butt, yielding a limited production of 595 bottles. Initially intended for Ardbeg`s Supernova series, renowned for its intense smokiness, cask #5460 proved to be exceptionally complex over time. Upon re-evaluation, it was deemed worthy of a standalone release due to the emerging intricacies in its profile.
