Ali in Wonderfuland Chenin Blanc 2022

This release marks Ali in Wonderfuland`s fourth vintage, where they introduce Chenin Blanc as the sole grape variety. Ali Verberg, the talented assistant winemaker at the family-operated Luddite winery, spearheads this exciting side-project. The grapes were carefully harvested at an early stage to preserve their vibrant natural acidity. Anticipate a medley of fruit aromas, with citrus notes entwining with white stone fruit, accompanied by a subtle spice and a refreshing hint of salinity. The wine gains texture and structure from a ten-day skin contact period, fermentation in older oak barrels, and the gentle stirring of lees.
