The most recognisable and the biggest-selling premium Tequila brand, Patron was established in 1989 by entrepreneurs John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. Patr贸n Tequilas are handmade by a team of about 700 employees in the small town of Atotonilco in Jalisco, Mexico. The Patr贸n Spirits Company now boasts a broad portfolio of ultra-premium spirits, however its signature Patr贸n Tequila line is led by Patr贸n Silver and Patr贸n XO Tequilas.
Other products such as Patr贸n XO Caf茅 (a Tequila infused with coffee liqueur), Patr贸n Citr贸nge (a Tequila infused with orange liqueur) have now become hugely popular in cocktail bars and among individual customers. Such has been Patron鈥檚 success over the past three decades that the brand now outsells all other Tequila brands combined.
