EH Taylor

Pioneering Kentucky Bourbon Excellence

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor is regarded as the founding father of the Bourbon industry. From the 1800s, Taylor owned a host of distilleries and introduced a number of production methods that are still used to this day. Produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, the EH Taylor whiskey range is a tribute to the man himself.

Each of this brand’s 12 expressions is crafted with techniques that Taylor himself invented (including copper fermentation tanks, columnar stills, innovative heating equipment), using Buffalo Trace's low-rye mash bill #1 recipe, consisting of corn, rye and malted barley. Meticulous barrel selection ensures the perfect blend for each of these sought-after whiskeys, which are matured in the very same warehouse that Taylor built in 1881. The flagship EH Taylor whiskey is the Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon – a perfect example of the brand’s signature rich, oaky style, with notes of caramel, vanilla, allspice and chocolate. EH Taylor Single Barrel is a more exclusive, premium offering, offering the unique traits of a single, specially selected barrel of this very special Kentucky Bourbon.
