Originally from the small state of Goa in India, I developed my interest in the beverage industry while working as a flair bartender in some of the best resorts in Goa. After completing my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Hospitality & Tourism, I had the unique opportunity to travel across the globe and visit key wine regions in Spain, France, Portugal and Australia while working as a Sommelier for a British cruise liner.

Having also worked as a wine advisor for a Dubai based fine wine company, I was very fortunate to visit some of the most famed estates in Bordeaux such as Latour, Lafite, Pontet Cantet, Pichon Baron and so on. During one of the trips, I still remember being shown around the magnificent estate of Château Margaux by the late Paul Pontallier who was such a gracious host. Apart from being a massive fan of Claret, I also enjoy whites from Burgundy, Loire, Alsace & South Africa and reds from Northern Rhone, Italy and California, not forgetting the occasional big, glass coating style of Barossa Shiraz.

I firmly believe sipping a fine wine or a rare spirit is one of those few indulgences that can take you back in time. Some of the finest wines that I have tasted so far are actually a true reflection of their terroir and the wine making philosophy of its producer.

I am currently studying towards the WSET Diploma and feel very privileged to be working for Hedonism Wines where the selection of fine wines and spirits is second to none. I will be more than happy to assist you in discovering through our range of wines and spirits or to find that perfect bottle for your special occasion.

In my spare time, I love listening to music of all kinds and also to watch & support the Indian cricket team whenever they are playing.
