Originally formed in 1933, Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is a celebrated wine producer based in the Côte de Nuits. The domaine is not only known for its Grand Cru wines but also for high-quality and age-worthy village-level cuvées from Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, such as this release from 2001. Expect plenty of bright red fruit and earthiness, lifted by floral, herbal, and spicy notes.
