Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts 1999 is a mature 1er Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat winemaker Charles Van Canneyt, who took over from his grandfather, Alain Hudelot-Noëllat, in 2008, is regarded as one Burgundy`s rising stars and produces very fine Pinot Noirs, including highly rated village wines and regional appellation wines. The 1er Cru vineyard of Malconsorts is located on the border with Nuits-St-Georges, immediately adjacent to La Tâche. In good vintages, it is considered by many Burgundy lovers to be a Grand Cru in all but name.
