Domaine Denizot is situated in the town of Verdigny, in the wider Sancerre region, and is run by 6th generation family member, Thibauld. Though 75% of production is white, they make a small quantity of high-quality Pinot Noir. Biorga is the top level cuvée sourced from vines that are more than 60-years-old. This is a supple and elegant wine, with soft red berry fruits, wild herbs and remarkable mineral tension. Certainly geared towards food, this would pair wonderfully with charcuterie, pâté and terrines.
