Established in 1803, Domaine Parent produces mostly Premier Cru wines, particularly in the prestigious Pommard appellation. The domaine is currently run by Anne Parent and her sister Catherine Fages-Parent, representing the 12th generation of the family. This release is the 1979 vintage of their ‘Les Epenots’, one of Pommard`s best-known Premier Crus where the family owns a 0.58-hectare parcel. The 1978 vintage is remembered for delivering finely elegant wines, slightly softer than its predecessor.
