‘Piante a Lapio’ is considered to be one of the most accomplished expressions of Fiano Campano. The vines are century-old and pre-phylloxera. Fermentation extends for as long as 60 days, sous voile in oak tanks in a temperature-controlled environment. The wine is then aged in 500l chestnut, acacia and oak casks. The finished wine displays a beautiful golden, amber colour. The nose is rich and complex. hazelnuts, dry herbs, citrus and sea salt. The wine is ready to drink now but will develop further after resting for some time in your cellar.
