Domaine Sylvain Cathiard is a boutique wine producer situated in the village of Vosne-Romanée. Sylvain’s son Sébastien has been fully in charge since 2011, overseeing the family’s five hectares of vines spread between Vosne-Romanée, Nuit-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. The 2020 Nuit-Saint-Georges is made from old vines planted in 1935, organically farmed although not certified. The grapes are 100% de-stemmed and the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels – 67% new. One for the cellar.
