Mount Brave is another part of the Jackson Family portfolio with winemaking overseen by the highly acclaimed Chris Carpenter (La Jota, Cardinale and Lokoya). Of their range, the Malbec is the most floral with distinctive violet flower notes over the top of a sensational core of black and red fruits. Through the finish there are lovely savoury accents of cigar smoke, forest floor and stony minerality. A beautifully perfumed wine that shows a completely different side to Californian red wine.
