Chateau Montelena is one of the oldest and most illustrious Napa estates and undoubtedly helped place California on the fine wine map when it took out one of the top prizes at the 1976 ‘Judgement of Paris’. The 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is medium-bodied, elegant and surprisingly European in feel. It has wonderfully charming notes of cassis, dried flowers, baking spices and cedar.
