Based in Meursault, Domaine Matrot is a family-owned estate currently run by sisters Elsa and Adèle. The vineyards have been farmed organically since 2000, though they are not certified as such. This release comes from the Meursault Premier Cru ‘Les Perrières’, where Matrot owns a 0.53-hectare plot. The 2004 vintage is in very good shape, chiselled and flinty with notes of butterscotch.
