A majority of Henri Boillot`s white wines are sourced from Premier Cru sites in Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, such as this release hailing from ‘Les Gouttes d`Or’. The stony, chalky soils here are underpinned by fragmented limestone, and have proven well suited to cultivate Chardonnay. The 2020 vintage is still quite young and will benefit from a few years in the cellar before being opened.
