Loch Lomond was founded in 1965 and is known for producing a range of different styles of single malt whisky, as well as grain whisky and blended whisky. The distillery has its own cooperage and malt floor, allowing them to control more aspects of the production process. The Open Special Edition 2023 is crafted in celebration of their partnership with The Open and golf ambassador Colin Montgomerie. Aged in American Oak casks and finished in Rioja red wine, this single malt is of exceptional character with red berries, orchard fruit and dark chocolate, finishing on a smoky note.
