Lindores Single Malt Friar John Cor Cask Strength Congregation Chapter 2 is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky produced by Lindores Abbey Distillery in Fife. It was released in 2023 and is the second release in the Friar John Cor Congregation series. The whisky is made from a blend of bourbon casks, STR wine barriques, and rum-peated casks, bottled at cask strength of 60.9% ABV. The nose is complex and inviting, with notes of maple syrup, roasted banana, fruity dates, apples, and spicy cinnamon. The palate features notes of pears, roasted banana, caramelized nutty almonds, and a pleasant smoky earthy peat. The finish is long and lingering, with maritime notes.
