Château Léoville-Barton is a Second Growth wine estate located within the Saint-Julien appellation. The Grand Vin is produced mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller proportions of Merlot. This release from the 1985 vintage remains delightful and rewarding. The nose suggests aromas of dried herbs, bay leaves, and red fruit jam. On the palate, the wine is impeccably balanced, displaying gentle tannins and a medium-length finish. A classic and mature Claret presented here in a magnum format.
