The 2004 Château Lascombes combines 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot in an explosively aromatic bouquet from the moment the bottle is opened. The palate offers a generous burst of fruit, featuring notes of black currant, dark plum, and black cherry – all ripe and sweet. As it evolves, tertiary flavours emerge, including hints of mink oil and mocha-infused coffee. With proper storage, this Margaux has the potential for another 10-15 years of delightful sipping.
