Situated in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the world-famous wine estate co-owned by the Villaine and Leroy families. DRC produces wines from eight different grand cru vineyards that span the length of the Côte d`Or. The 6.06-hectare La Tâche is a monopole since 1933 and its wine is regarded as one of the finest expressions of Pinot Noir. The 2012 vintage is drinking perfectly well now, filled with notes of exotic spices, sweet tobacco and red berries. An exuberant and rewarding wine.
