Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon 1981

Jordan is a family-owned estate situated in Alexander Valley AVA, in Sonoma County. The winery was founded in 1972 by Tom and Sally Jordan, who were inspired by the great wine estates of France. It is one of the few producers that makes only two wines. a Russian River Valley Chardonnay and an Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The 1981 vintage is revealing aromas of dried black cherry, plums and raisins accompanied by savoury notes of dried herbs, mushrooms, olives and tobacco complemented by a nice thread of acidity.
