Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a Fifth Growth estate situated within the Pauillac appellation. The vineyard, which surrounds the château itself, spans about 55 hectares in total. It is planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon [75%], complemented by Merlot [20%] and Cabernet Franc [5%]. This release from the 1988 vintage is still full of life, boasting notes of mint, grass, leather, cedar wood and hints of barbecue sauce. Presented here in a rare magnum bottle.
