The Sadie Family is renowned in the South African wine industry for their commitment to producing exceptional wines. The ‘Die Ouwingerdreeks’ range – which translates to ‘old vines’ – is a collection of wines that highlights the unique expression of specific vineyards. One of the notable releases from the Die Ouwingerdreeks range is `Skurfberg`. This release takes its name from the Skurfberg mountain in the Olifants River region of South Africa, where the vineyard is located. While the exact composition of the blend may vary from vintage to vintage, it often includes old-vine Chenin Blanc as the predominant grape, complemented by other white varieties such as Grenache Blanc, Clairette Blanche, and Palomino.
